Super Hudson

1. You are obsessed with super heroes, specifically Superman! You have two Superman shirts, one with white sleeves and one with gray. You have told us repeatedly you prefer the gray sleeves! 

2. You tell us you love us constantly and without prompting! It could be twenty times in the car on the way home from school.  It never gets old!

"Yes, Hudson?"

"I love you."

"I love you, too." 

3. At home you poop, then stand against the tub and yell for me to come wipe your butt! And I gladly do it because I know the days of you being little are quickly passing. 

Halloween Party at Wild Wings

Tonight we went to dinner at Wild Wings. You wore your Bumblebee Transformer costume. You and Dax also decorated your own large pumpkins. It was a fun night!  

Newsboys in Concert

Tonight we took you boys to your first concert! We saw Ryan Stevenson, Hawk Nelson and the Newsboys. We rocked the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium with our praises to God! Of course, you and Dax LOVED when they sang God's Not Dead!  We also decided to sponsor an eight year old girl in Ethiopia. We pray that God will work miracles in her life while working in our hearts. Tonight was a true blessing! 

H-U-D-S-O-N

Last Thursday I picked you up from preschool and you had a big surprise for us!!! You know how to spell your name now! You are so cute! You say "H-U-D-S-O-N, Hudson!" We are so proud of you!

Haircut

Today I took you and Dax to Fantastic Sams for haircuts. This was the first time you had a haircut from someone other than Gammy. You did so good sitting still! I am so proud of you! 

Preschool

You just finished your first full week of preschool.  You are going to the Erwin High School Daycare.  You have transitioned well and seem to really like it.  You enjoy your Minion blanket, playing outside, having lots of friends and fun.  Today was water day and you got to play outside and get wet. You are actually dealing with your first cold. You enjoy school and are in the wonderful hands of Mrs. Evelyn and Ms. Daisy (the same teachers Dax had).  We are very proud of you! 

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Yesterday we celebrated your 3rd birthday! We went to church, you napped and then we partied at the pool! Mamaw, Grandma, Mimi, Pawpaw, Aunt Helen, Uncle Wade, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Bobby. Dylan, Gracie, Moses and us were their for your Minion celebration. You kids enjoyed playing in the pool. Then we ate BBQ, chocolate cake and you opened presents. You got several cool gifts such as stuffed minions (Bob. Kevin and Stewart), clothes, a minion night light, a Superman flyer, Kids Bop with some of your favorite songs and Mickey bedding for your new bunk bed! It was a wonderful time with family! It's hard to believe you are three! You are quite the character. Today daddy told you you were awesome and you said "Yeah, I am!" When you get mad you tell us to look at your face and then you scrunch up face to show you're mad. You're using the potty like a champ now. We love you and are so thankful for the joy you bring! You start school in a couple of weeks and you are excited. We look forward to another year of watching you grow!
