Snowmaggedon 2016

This week you went to school for one hour! Monday was MLK Jr. Holiday, Tuesday was a teacher workday and then Wednesday school dismissed at 9 am due to weather! A major snow storm came and we've been out ever since! It's been a beautiful snow- around 10 inches!  You boys have enjoyed playing in it. Daddy's had to drive to Hendersonville every day to work, but he's still found time to play with you boys. 

Merry Christmas 2015

We had a wonderful Christmas! We celebrated Christmas Eve at Aunt Jenny's and Uncle Bobby's. We even got to visit with Papaw for a bit. Christmas morning you boys slept in! Dax loved opening all his presents. Once Hudson opened his Superman, he was done! He cracked us up! He went to his room and started playing. Daddy asked him if he was done and if daddy should finish opening his presents. Hudson answered "Sure!" Later that day we had lunch at our apartment. Daddy smoked an awesome ribeye roast. We had baked potatoes, salad and dessert! We watched God's Not Dead. That night we went to Uncle Jon's for our Christmas get together. Then last night we went to Aunt Helen's and Uncle Wade's. It was another good time with family. The weather has been rainy, sunny and in the 60's and 70's! We have so much to be thankful for! 

Christmas Festivities

Today was full of Christmas fun! After watching the Star Wars movie we ate lunch at Fuddruckers, picked up some shingles samples for our house, went to check our the house and then went caroling! We met some other church friends at Fletcher Park retirement home. It was such a blessing to sing carols for the people who live there. We even met a nice lady who shared with us that she is 99 years old and will be 100 come August! After we left there we stopped by the Ashevillle Outlets to visit Santa. Dax asked for a Kylo Ren mask and Hudson asked for snow! LOL! By 8pm we were at Gammy's for a Christmas visit. It was nice seeing their lights outside. They also had a huge village collection that Dax loved and needed several reminders to not touch. It was a nice time together! 

Star Wars The Force Awakens

This morning we went and saw the new Star Wars movie at Regal Biltmore Grand. We went with the whole family! In preperation of this BIG event we watched all of the six previous movies! During the movies daddy would ask if I was paying attention and Dax would tell me he was quizzing me afterward! We also wore our Star Wars shirts! The movie was great and everyone enjoyed it! 

Hollywild Festival of Lights

Last night we drove to Hollywild. We enjoyed the lights and feeding the animals from the car!
